Thanks SO much Suzy. I've been a bit worried to be honest - thinking I'd shot myself in the foot. Life is difficult enough for us struggling writers isn't it, without making things even tougher for ourselves! Of course, I do know that Godot never came - I've studied the play (quite recently, as it happens). And that's how 'success' feels like to me, at present - very elusive, and that possibly it's not going to come at all! Never mind, I'll just have to get on with the writing day; oddly enough I'm writing about a character who is very self-destructive!
