Short story competition 2014

Hi all,

I've completed an entry for the competition and I'm happy with the final draft and really don't want to mess with it. It comes in at 2000 words exactly. How I managed that I'm not sure! However this word count does not include the title. Will that be a problem?

Novice competition writer question I know, but it's giving me a headache!

Thanks in advance

Hi Heather, as far as I know the word count does not normally include the title, however, it's always worth checking the terms and conditions of the competition (should be available if the competition is bona fide). Good luck, Mark.
