Hi every-one,
I have just received a gift of a writers and artists book and discovered a competition which closes soon. This morning I registered on this site in the hope of entering. Can any-one tell me if there is a particular way of setting out the story, ie font, size, space between lines? Thanks for any help you can give to this wet behind the ears hopeful.

Enter yes enter and never ever ever ever I can't say ever enough, be put off by someone's' comments. sometimes they think they are being "funny" but we can take criticism to heart if it is said in way that is, well not nice!
take no notice keep writing. I always think about Roald Dahl's sisters telling him to "Give up Roald, you're rubbish. He didn't take any notice. I wasn't there when they said that too him so those words may not be verbatim. Nonetheless it stands, you get better the more you do. At least I hope so, otherwise I may as well stand in an empty grave and wait for the next death if I can't improve!
Regards and best wishes with the competition. Paul G
Arlene,
Thank you. I did look at that before but missed the bit added to number 6 which explained the format.
I'm just a little hesitant as I gave a copy of my story to a friend as I trust his judgement and he shook his head and said "How you ever became a teacher I'll never know" which, understandably, knocked my confidence. However, you haven't failed until you've given up. So I'm going to enter regardless.
Thanks for responding.
