Just a thought...
Would it be a good idea (if possible) to video the event on the 26th so that those shortlisted (and especially the winner) can have a memento. This would seem to be especially appropriate for those on the list that due to distance or other commitments are unable to be there.
Hoping this will be possible.

It's been an absolute pleasure reading the shortlisted entries to this competition from previous years - really inspiring. I still think about the Ikea story and a life in handbags.
I wonder if the twenty long listed stories of the fifteen hundred entries will be made available?
YES..AGREED ...That is a great idea :) ill be waiting for my loosing letter too because the one i submitted wasn't my best :(
