I am aware that the entrants for this competition come from across the world but did anyone see a name they recognised? It would have been so good to see a name we knew on the short list.

I would like to read some of the stories, does anyone know if they are available?

Perhaps some of them will start using the site a bit after being shortlisted. I know I did once I'd been shortlisted in the same competition two years ago. Lots of people probably aren't aware of the community section to the site - I certainly wasn't.

You're right Rosa, we can't belly ache over not winning and as I said in my first reply as long as you are a member anyone can enter those are the rules, so you don't have to be active in here it's just the names that can't be found in the members list, I didn't know you could use two names as Pol Cown suggests.

I for one didn't think I would hit the short list so no gripes from me on that score. we will all have to just get better at writing, or choose a genre that appeals to the judge! we must keep on keepin on! Regards Paul.
