Can anyone recommend a software package for screenplay? I am not looking for the cheapest, but something that is easy to use and does the basics.

Fade In Pro - Does everything the paid version does, but has a watermark at the top of each page.

WriterDuet - Free for any three projects. You can also back up an older project and delete it before adding another one.

WriterSolo - Free for as many projects as you like.

I don't know if you're still looking James. FINALDRAFT seems to be the industry standard for screenplays. It's simple to use and allows multiple users to work together. I think it's on version 11 or 12 now.

Hi James

Here's a link to reviews of different software packages: https://www.scriptreaderpro.com/free-screenwriting-software/

I recently downloaded "Fade-In" (it's on that list too). I've got the free version. I find that easy to use.

Hope this helps.
