Some needs a help to find a printer and possibly editor

I am sorry to come back to this as the other day I posted a "self publishing" question and as it has been done and done I should have couched the title differently, I apologise. I have been asked if I know any reliable self publishers and as I don't I thought here someone will. If I might ask that anyone who does know would they please read my original post. Many thanks, regards Paul

Thank you Lorraine, if you were this side of the channel the flowers would be on your doorstep. I will pass on that info, although they are more books than pamphlets some have been in hardback I believe. She hasn't said what the problem has been with the people she has been using, there again she isn't like me I have to complain about everything AND SHARE... makes me feel soooooooooooo much better.

As ever Paul

Paul, Ingram Sparks is a way of self-publishing, without being a vanity publisher, int eh way that Amazon is. Google them and see what they offer.

Editing will cost money - can't avoid that, unfortunately, even though she gives her pamphlets away for free.

Glad to have been of help to you: that's all I want! Sympathy is yours, without asking.

Lorraine

Hi Lorraine, thanks for yet again spending your time to help me! She is a Christian speaker who travels the world and has a massive following from what I can tell. She was here the other day when she was discussing an idea of my wife's to help people (mainly women) who shouldn't be criminalised for mistakes, things that are not criminal but somehow get twisted out of shape and they end up instead of getting help having a record and all the ensuing problems that follow in that wake! That isn't what you asked sorry, just trying to give you some perspective of the type of woman she is and how she works.

I believe her books go from booklets to novella size and she sells them at events that she hosts. They are teaching and inspirational but all Christian based work and all non profit making.

The editing would be grammar and punctuation. (Oh how well I understand that need.)

Do you think they will have something in the W&A editing function that could possibly make me seem almost literate???????

Oh whilst I have the chance I would, (without sounding patronising) like to thank you for all the time you have spent helping me over the last couple of years. My writing has changed such a lot with the advice and direction you have given me, especially with the problems I have to live with, (not looking for sympathy there however, should you feel like lavishing sympathy on me it will appeal to the part of me that is still the little boy)

Anyway back to the real world... Does that info make a difference to the suggestion you have made for a publisher?

Kind regards as ever Paul
