Can you use famous story as an example in your book? Or do you need a special permission for this?

Many thanks

Thanks so much Lorraine. That's really helpful! I haven't thought about intellectual property to be honest....

You'd have to be careful that Michael Jordan's name isn't considered part of his intellectual property or brand, Isa.

Thanks so much Alex! It's very helpful. I would of course give all credit.

It's just an example but, it would be something like mentioning that all times NBA star Michal Jordan has gone through x, y, z to become an outstanding basketball player.

All based on facts.

Is there a copy right on something that is common knowledge, on someone's BIO?

Many thanks in advance.
