Stunned - well - almost...

I have just finished a brief piece (I can do short stuff) that for a long time has been so far on the back-burner that it had been frost-bitten.

Do others feel stunned (or something) when material like this just sorts itself out?

Are tales supposed to go in an originally conceived direction?

Hmm... Never though of that... ;-)

I have now found myself setting up to use the system of telling a story backwards (by stages).

I don't know whether anything I write will ever be published - but it's fun writing it...

Interuptions? You mean like work, shopping, sleeping, eating and all those inconveniences?

I must go and put the kettle on... :-)

Just finished one of those myself. Always amazes me how the direction of a tale can change after being put on 'hold' for a while. Am pleased as Punch to have finished it and now feel inspired to tackle another longer one that is sitting waiting.

These delays are not due to writer's block but rather daily interruptions that interfere with my concentration. And you?
