hi you lot, I forgot the website address for this site for a bit

anyway I do do twitter a lot which is how I stumbled upon this website in the first place, and that's where I kill time and wait to die at a 140 characters per tweet, so anyone else there feel free to meet @beatonm5

Hi Andrew yeah I think thats why I am hardly ever here... this site rather hard to interact anyway either you in form of Q&A or comments on your work, maybe thats all its meant to do i guess.... unless i missed the memo...

anyway I use twitter more as a flash fiction journal...

and here checking this thread less and less till i totally forget to check it

Since registering with this site, I've found that there are only a handful of people holding the community together. Considering the vast membership and huge numbers of industry professionals who use this site to promote their services, blogs and work, they appear to contribute nothing to the community pages.

I suspect it may simply be a reflection of current channels/technologies rather than lack of interest, but you may be better off with twitter. It's a shame, since you'd have hoped that a site putting itself out there for writers would be able to create a more active community, but I guess money / resources / effort / competing channels etc. makes it really difficult for any organisation to 'make something happen' on their sites.
