Usually no, modern readers usually wouldn't be familiar with it and are much more comfortable with ordinary speech. You're here to entertain the reader, not to throw some ancient speech at them that they might not understand. Keep it simple, many authors say the same thing. Complicating certain things doesn't always help, as one might presume.
