I know this is not really a discussion board, but I thought it would be fun to think about our favorite short stories since today is the submission deadline for the competition. So what are some of your favorites? It's almost impossible for me to not keep going with the list, so I'll limit myself to three.
"Bliss" Katherine Mansfield
"The River" Flannery O'Connor
"The Minister's Black Veil" Nathaniel Hawthorne
I really liked 'The Stone' by Tove Jansson. And I also liked Truman Capote's 'The Dream Merchant' (unfortunately I'm not sure of the title, I've read it a long time ago). But the list is long indeed, Nico.
