What does the future hold ?

In this world of high technology and fast life, with E books getting ever more popular. What does the future hold for todays authors. What will we be doing will we still even be reading books.

For me I seriously can't see anything ever replacing the book. What can be better than chilling out with a good book, nothing. Sorry I lied chilling out with a good book while taking a hot soak. Top notch.

So what does the future hold ?

I honestly couldn't say what the future holds but after resisting e-books for so long, I've made the decision to upgrade and start buying books on kindle from now on.

For starters - I was having a very serious lack of space/storage to keep all my books. I use my books like DVD's I like to re-read them. I couldn't read them once then give them away. I like to reread them all at least once a year. I just don't have the space anymore to do that. I tried for months to find an answer and the only one I could come up with was : Kindle.

Despite loving the feel and look of my books, I also find using a kindle much more comfortable. When I read, I don't just read a chapter or two everyday, I have to read the entire book in way go and as I'm sure you know it can take quite a while. I'm a fidgeter to. I constantly shift around in my chair and books are quite uncomfortable to read when you're reading them all day! With a kindle - I only have to use one hand too - which is convenient because I like to tuck into a chocolate bar whilst I read and it's not easy trying to stuff my face and turn the page!

So although I'll miss buying paperbacks terribly and it'll take me awhile to ajust to having no more books on my shelves - it's the only option!
