Hello!
So I have some birthday money to burn and feel I'd like to spend it on a short course geared toward writing for children. It's been a while since I have written and I feel like it will be a great kick in the butt motivation wise and also great to learn new things. As it is 2017, I think children's writing has changed a bunch!
I am new to London and so am unsure of which schools are notable. I wondered if a Londoner could recommend a good school, or if anyone knew of a good online course (I much prefer to learn in person, but am happy to have a look at online options!) So far City Lit, Faber Academy and University of London tend to pop up a lot! Would anyone be able to weigh in on what's good, whether from personal experience or second hand?
Thank you in advance!
Thank you so much for your assistance, Writers & Artists!! I will absolutely keep my eyes peeled for your writing course for children in the autumn - that would be lovely!! :-) I appreciate your recommendations of the other schools also. Such a big help, thank you!
Hi Rio,
If you are writing for children, the Golden Egg Academy has a brilliant reputation for its children's writing courses.

Faber Academy also have a good reputation for creative writing courses, however it's important that you take a look at the course requirements and see which one would be best suited to you for whatever stage of the writing process you're at.
We also ran a successful writing course for children last year and are looking to host another one in Autumn, so keep your eyes peeled on our event page for further details!
All best,
