Okay, this is grasping at straws, but just wondered if there is anyone out there who is part of, or who runs a writing group in the Buckingham area? There aren't any listed on the internet, but have just moved to UK from Australia and would really like to meet some other, like minded people in the area, so thought I'd "put it out there!"
I don't think the internet is always the best place to look for writing groups. They can be rather shy in that respect and local libraries or bookshops may be able to help. Having said that some writing groups have a good blog or website. It all depends on having an internet savvy member who can set these things up and maintain them.
Hi Lucy, hopefully you'll get some response here from others in a writing group near you, but check your local libraries, they invariably know of writer's groups.
