Writing by hand

Hi all, I recently brought a really pretty notebook the other day from The Works (reduced from £10 to £3) and only brought it because of its visual appeal and bargain price; however I don't know what to do with it. Do you think it will be a good idea to write my story 'A Time to Change' in it? I used to write all my work by hand before I was introduced to a computer (makes me sound old but I suck with technology aha) so I know it is very time consuming and results in cramped fingers. So really I just want to know people's opinions or any other ideas people can think of using my notepad for. Thank you!

Hi Gary I have already typed the story (sorry I should have made that clear) but love being able to hold my work physically in my hand... Also I've been told agents and publishers want a written copy (although I don't know if I'm being lied to there) thank you for your advice :)

It depends how you wish to write really. Using software on a computer makes it much easier to correct mistakes, apply changes to other areas and generally manage your writing more easier, but the old-fashioned pen and paper method often seems a bit more comfortable at times when you're out and about.

But if you're unsure just yet, perhaps consider using it as a notepad for those times when a computer or laptop aren't very viable as another option?

It's down to preference really :)
