No, Paul. I tried to do so once, but I found out that it diluted my quality of writing. So , for me it is better to concentrate on just one draft at a time...
A would-be author needs to single-minded and complete one novel at a time. Otherwise there is a danger of starting many first drafts and not finishing any of them.
I believe the reason that some would-be authors attempt to write more than one novel at a time, is because they have run out of ideas. This is most likely due to a lack of planning. Thoroughly planning a novel from the outset, with working chapter tiles, a beginning, middle and end should guarantee the completion of the first draft of a single manuscript at a time.

I don't have the attention span for just one project at a time!
I edit the last whilst writing the next, but I'll also have a few I'm plotting out and writing scenes for backed up ready.
