I’ve been thinking a lot about characters recently - the characters in my own book of course, but great characters from the books I loved reading too.
I have managed to publish five books with KDP and about to add another. I have had a few sales but nothing to get excited about. I am now looking seriously into promotion. Has anyone experience of this, using the KDP or any other source? I haven't found the KDP site very helpful in understanding what is actually required and how it works.
I'm about to start the process. (Better late than never!) Do you use Querytracker or any of the others? Do you use a spreadsheet? Do you query different books at the same time or stick with one? There is so much to learn.
