I have created a group for newbies and have had 8 requests to join which is great. But I'm struggling to communicate with them all at once or get something organised where we can meet up online for group introduction and chats etc. Can anyone help with how it works on here?
Hi hi everyone, My name is zoe sijia, I am a trilingual visual designer based in London. I studied for a Master of Arts in Visual Communication: Illustration at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2023.
I’m experienced in working with self-publishers for 0-12 years children's picture book, character design, childlike, and consumer-based illustrations.
I am not a writer myself but I work as a translator and recently one of my foreign clients asked me if I could become a literary agent in the UK for her fiction book series (that I have translated to English). She cannot find an agent in the UK herself since she does not speak English.
I said I will do my research and will reply.
However, finding information about this is incredibly difficult. There is very little information out there about submitting translated books to UK publishing houses.
