Live Editing Masterclass

Live Editing Masterclass

Do you struggle with the editing process? Writer and editor Sara Grant is here to help!

In this live editing masterclass Sara will offer an overview of her systemic approach to editing, from interrogating your idea to polishing your manuscript for submission. She’ll delve into everything from plot to character, sentence to word choice.

She will then live edit 5 pieces submitted by you! You’ll be able to see Sara’s editing process live at work as she takes you through her immediate thoughts on the piece, and offer exercises to support the next steps of each piece.

To be in with the chance of having your work live edited during this masterclass, book a ticket and then email your piece to [email protected]. Your submission should be no more than 1,000 words. Pieces will be selected on a first come first served basis as long as the material is appropriate for the class. Please note that if your piece is selected you will be notified in advance of the session. Sara may also have some questions for you, so please come ready to talk about your work.
