Publishing 101: The Synopsis

Publishing 101: The Synopsis

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to ‘Publishing 101: The Synopsis’.

You've written a whole book. So why is a synopsis so difficult to write? Clare Povey and James Rennoldson will help you understand what is required of this technical document, how to condense your novel to a page, when in the process agents read the synopsis and why most agents expect spoilers! They'll share examples of successful and unsuccessful synopses to help you diagnose the problems in your own synopsis and make sure your story sings.

The key details of the session are below, as well as the link you’ll need to join this online masterclass.

When: 2nd March, 12:30pm-1:00pm UK time

Where: Online

Joining Link: Publishing 101: The Synopsis | Meeting-Join | Microsoft Teams
