Using Social Media as a Writer

Using Social Media as a Writer

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to ‘Using Social Media as a Writer’.

Social media can offer a vital platform for you, as a writer, to share your books with the world, whether you are traditionally published or self-published. But where should you start with it? And how can you make it work for you?

Author Nicola Garrard (On the Edge) will be delving into how to use social media as a writer, what different platforms can offer you and how you can find your audience on the one/s you choose. She'll discuss how to create social media strategies that don't take over your writing time, both around publication day and between books. Nicola will also talk about balancing the costs and benefits of social media for authors, and encourage you to set work-life boundaries that protect your private lives and families.
