Writing Cosy Crime

Writing Cosy Crime

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to ‘Writing Cosy Crime’.

From daggers in dining rooms to sleepy towns full of secrets, cosy crime is soaring in popularity. Whether you want to be the next Richard Osman or Janice Hallett, cosy crime writer Jo Middleton will guide you through the key things you need to know to write successfully in the genre, including top tips on creating believable suspects, clues, and motives.

Together you’ll explore how to write warm, witty whodunnits that balance murder with charm, humour and heart. Jo will discuss how to give the classic cosy crime a modern twist, where readers come for the mystery but stay for the characters, comedy, and voice.
