Alice: A song by Lucy Styles

Verse 1 – The Whispered Legend:

It’s Alice.

Did you hear what happened?

She descended into madness.

Think it’s when she fell down that rabbit hole.

She hit her head during the fall.

She was seven, if I can recall.

It was tragic.

If it weren’t for that rabbit,

She might have never been hurt at all.

But it was Alice — didn’t she have that habit?

Always chasing every curiosity.

She was too young to ever see,

The danger of where it would lead.

Chorus 1 – The Descent:

Down, down she fell,

Into her own kind of hell.

Like she was under a spell,

And it never ended well.

No longer could she tell

What was real or just a tale to sell.

Verse 2 – The Dreaming:

Alice, talking riddles and forever lost.

A living wonder — but at what cost?

Trapped in a dream, where nothing’s as it seems.

Never could she leave.

Yet she would believe

There was no need to flee.

Dancing with beasts,

Singing to caterpillars in the trees.

Verse 3 – The Hollow Myth:

Wonderland is what it’s called,

But no wonder is it at all.

Mad as a Hatter — nothing is sadder.

No cloak, but all daggers.

Just a matter of chatter.

Chorus 2 – Distorted Reflection

Down, down she fell,

Into her own kind of hell.

Like she was under a spell,

And it never ended well.

No longer could tell

What was real or just a tale they sell.

Verse 4 – The Collapse

Kingdom of tricks.

Nothing can stick.

It all happened so quick.

Reality shattered.

Her life on a silver platter.

Can still hear the pitter patter..

Verse 5 – The Shattered Icon

Queen of their hearts,

Beaten and scarred.

No one knows who you are.

A kingdom of cards,

Falling apart.

It’s really quite smart —

A true work of art.

How from the start,

There were only shards

Of who you were.

Chorus 3 – The Reckoning

Down, down she fell,

Into her own personal hell.

They cast the spell,

Think she’s unwell.

Never could tell

That she was real — not a story to sell.

Bridge – Alice Speaks

It’s Alice.

Isn’t it kind of tragic?

That after it all happened,

The madness became a fascination.

That I could never outgrow who I was.

The gossip never stops.

I’ve had about enough.

Not the girl they thought I was.

Outro – Spoken Truth

I’m just Alice.

I was seven when the fall happened.

Told stories — as it happens.

I was a child. What did you expect me to do?

I survived.

Lived my life.

Grew out of that phase.

Yet it’s frozen in time.
