Announcing shared work

by Mark Haskins

Hi,

I'm new to the site and I've just uploaded a draft of a chapter I've been working on. What is the correct etiquette for that?

* Do I just post the shared work and sit back and let it be found or

* I've noticed that some writers have announced their shared work in this Q&A area.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, welcome to W&A.

Strictly speaking, this is the place for questions - and you've asked a valid question.

If you have any queries regarding your piece of work, put them in an introductory paragraph, so that anyone reviewing can address your particular issue with your writing.

Thanks Mark, for asking the question. And thanks, Adrian, for the reply. It answers a recent query in my head. Adrian makes a good specific point which hadn't occurred to me, that of inadvertently annoying others using this section of the website. When ready I'll follow your example as well.
