Do you read books, or do you prefer to use a Kindle?

I prefer to have a book in my hands rather than a kindle. I have a kindle hidden away somewhere, an unused gift from a friend. But I love the smell and feel of books. I am attracted to friends’ bookshelves when I walk into their homes. Their books are a conversation starter. I’m drawn to charity shops to add books to my bulging bookcases and sagging shelves. Just looking at them encourages me to read. A Kindle just doesn't have the same affect. I love books.

I do read both, but I do side with kindle a little due to the ease and being able to read in bed. I know I could get a reading light, but I do find it easier to read on my phone. Another upside to kindles is that you can get the book as soon as you buy it without having to go to the store if you're having a low day or they are closed.

However, I do enjoy a book because I like to see how much I have left and the feel of books are nice.
