Help!

A few months ago I submitted my book to an agent and, as I didn't hear back from them, assumed they were not interested. However they have now got back to me and yay! They are interested. Trouble is, in the months since I submitted my book has been split into two and much of the first three chapters removed. So my question is, should I send the original manuscript I pitched to them, or explain the situation and send the new one instead? Or both? Any input is much appreciated, thank you, Helen

Totally agree with Adrian on discussing it with them. What an excellent dilemma to be in! It's an incredible achievement to have an agent interested! Well done.

I think you should send them the new one and explain what happened. I think they won't mind because the story is the same and the aesthetics is improved!

But, as the choice is yours, what ever you do is for the best and it is your opinion!

Good luck :)

Thank you Adrian, I think I will do that; give them the option as to which version they would like to read.
