Yes I agree the article is definitely of use in general and not just as a plan to follow in 30 days.
I certainly could not imagine attempting NANOWRIMO, but this guide has some good tips and pointers for any writer, I would imagine.
You should give it a read, Adrian, it's actually useful.
And way to go Victoria, you're a braver soul than I am, for getting through NANOWRIMO successfully. Kudos!
Having read Nick Daws 'Write a book in 28 days' I was intrigued by this. To be fair to the author, a lot of what she's said is good sense - apart from timescale. As Victoria said, when do you actually write?
'How to write a book' might have been a more accurate title - but then few would read it, would they? :)
And good luck to anyone doing Nano. I can't face it - it's like building a muckheap to realise you've lost your hoofpick in it :(
