I got the idea for the novel I'm working on now, which will become a series of books, from a boy I saw by the side of the road in the countryside. I saw him for just a split second but it was enough for the basis of a whole series of books! My protagonist travels to lots of different countries. I've done a lot of travelling and the places I've visited have been a great source of inspiration.
Ok this is going to sound rather repulsive or disgusting, but im surely not the only one who has this.
Alot of my ideas have come while im in the bathroom. I suppose its the only place I get to think and alot of the stories I have developed or written come from ideas I spurn in there.

A small Idea usually pops into my head.
When i am organizing chapters, plot, characters, twists etc the story usually expands into new ideas from there.
My strangest Idea is the novel I am working on now but I can't share it yet as it would give the twist away.
