It has been a year that im writing my book and the last 3 months i just feel psychologically and emotionally 'dry' to write. H do i get back on track?

I agree with Nicola that reading always helps. I particularly like the vivid imagery of 'The Raven' by EA Poe, or any Marlowe novel by Raymond Chandler. They both inspire, with a great word craft. Bound to get your pen itching to go.

Do you write a journal? If I can't write anything else, I do that.

Also, what are you reading at the moment? I can recommend James Wood's How Fiction Works. Not only an inspiring book by itself, it also provides a vast number of leads by provoking curiosity about the craft.
