Short Story Competition

Hi every-one,

I have just received a gift of a writers and artists book and discovered a competition which closes soon. This morning I registered on this site in the hope of entering. Can any-one tell me if there is a particular way of setting out the story, ie font, size, space between lines? Thanks for any help you can give to this wet behind the ears hopeful.

It is interesting and somewhat of a challenge to enter a competition such as this at my age. Nevertheless it feels good to have a try. Jean Wilson

Honestly go for it! Take pride in your writing ☺️ If you enter you aren't really losing anything whatever the outcome HOWEVER you are gaining experience (although I do not know you so you may have experience with competitions). I personally am yet to win a competition that was not within my school, as am I also waiting for my chance to be shortlisted once more. But needless to say I pursue on with competitions and love the practise I get from doing so. From one writer to another, best of luck should you choose to enter and good luck with all your future writing endeavours
