I've had a bad experience with editorial services and been recently informed I'm not alone. It is a relatively new industry, and I haven't managed to find any professional or regulatory body yet, apart from the Society of Editors and Proofreaders. I wonder if Writers and Artists could start a review of services, or if there is a uk forum for such. What do you others think?

Re "Should writers and artists start a review of editorial services." Thanks Jimmy hollis I Dickson for your answers and suggestion re a blog. It sounds good. However, I really have no idea how to blog let alone how to start a blog on this site. Can you do a shared blog I wonder?
Amendment: it's not "never answered", it's "unanswered". But if we can carry on a dialogue ping pong for 90 hits, we can push this to the head of "popular"... ;P
