Submission format

I'd like to submit for the 'Joy' competition. I've completed my story and read through the conditions.

However, I couldn't see any stipulation regarding a required format or layout that some publishers require: e.g. font-size, font-face, double-spaced, word-count at the end, etc? That kind of thing. Is it required here, or are you fairly flexible about that?

I'm used to writing TMAs for my Open University Creative Writing course, where they were very insistent about students using an approved layout, so I thought it wise to check with you first.

Many thanks,

Steve

I did Times New Roman, 12pt double spaced, paragraph indenting and title/page numbers in the header, only because a couple of other competitions I entered last month suggested those as Format specifications. So long as they can read the text, you should be okay.

Although I personally despise double spacing between lines- it makes everything look messy- it tends to be pretty standard in competitions and self-publishing formatting. A bit late I know...
