What is important, writing every day no matter what, or when you feel the desire to?

When I feel the desire to. This is just me, I don't know about others, but trying to write every day no matter what means that I sort of have to force ideas and it becomes hard work. And I don't want writing to be hard work. When I have the desire and the ideas to write, I can't stop and my writing is so much better.

I think when you feel inspired too. If you do it everyday no matter what, chances are you dont meet the quality you are capable of.
For now I write when I feel like it, but hopefully soon I will have to try writing everyday
