Children's Writers & Illustrators Festival 2026: MASTERCLASS+

21st March 2026 9:45am to 22nd March 2026 4:00pm, Online

Are you writing and/or illustrating for children?  Join us online for a weekend of live masterclasses, panel discussions, and exclusive pre-recorded video resources with authors, illustrators, and industry professionals.

Now in its fourth year, our Children's Writers & Illustrators Festival is an accessible, informative and fun weekend exclusively for writers and illustrators working in both children's fiction and non-fiction.

Featuring a stellar line-up of authors, illustrators, and industry professionals, festivalgoers can expect a friendly atmosphere, practical guidance, candid discussion, and invaluable insight into the creative and publishing processes. All ticketholders are automatically entered into our festival raffle, while everyone is also invited to attend The Power of the Pitch, a panel discussion between a literary agent, editor and bookseller. In advance of this panel discussion, everyone will have the opportunity to submit a book pitch. A selection will be chosen by the panel, who will offer feedback as part of their discussion.

A Masterclass+ ticket allows you to join one of our real-time 90-minute masterclass sessions (choose from Creative Circuit Training with Dean Atta, Engaging an Audience Across Different Mediums with Nikita Gill, or Poetry for Laughs with A.F. Harrold). Plus, you'll have access to four pre-recorded videos + follow-up discussions, and you'll also be able to join us for our live panel discussion with industry professionals about the processing of pitching a book.
