Creative Writing Workshop with Elizabeth Kostova - Walk and Writing

Join Elizabeth Kostova on an inspirational guided walk around the historic Village of Dunkeld before heading to a creative writing session.

 

Each session includes a free follow up session based within the Birnam Arts Centre one week later, details TBC.

 

Elizabeth Kostova is the author of three novels--The Historian, The Swan Thieves, and The Shadow Land--all of which involve the subject of historical research. Her work has been translated into 40 languages, and The Historian received Quill and American Bookseller Awards. It was also the first novel in American publishing history to debut at #1 on the NYT bestseller list. Her fourth novel, Mystery Play, will be published in October 2026. She reads, teaches, and lectures internationally and is co-founder of the Elizabeth Kostova Foundation for Creative Writing (www.ekf.bg). She lives in Asheville, NC--Dunkeld and Birnam’s Sister City in the U.S.--where she contributes to post-hurricane relief and serves on the board of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Association.
