Not much in life is certain. So much is constantly in flux. Many great stories begin with crisis, out of which comes adventure, strength and transformation. In this session, we’ll take a moment to take stock, to think about what it means to live with uncertainty - within ourselves and within the world around us. Where can we find strength? How can we channel uncertainty into creativity?
We'll explore this through visual prompts from the cultural heritage collections of Europeana.eu.
We’ll do some gentle warm-up exercises together and then some longer prompts so you can really explore your ideas. By combining practical writing exercises with a supportive writers’ circle feel, you’ll achieve great things in the session and leave with the resources and ideas to keep the stories coming.
You can write in any language. There is no obligation to share your work. No experience is required.
In association with Europeana Academy. You can also access all the prompts and exercises, and share your writing on the Europeana Writers' Room section of the Europeana Academy (log-in required).
