On Inspiration, Perspiration and Creative Desperation

13th January 2025 12:30pm to 1:30pm, Online

Writer and editor Hattie Crisell has spoken to some of the world's best writers about their approaches to the craft, for her new book In Writing: Conversations On Inspiration, Perspiration and Creative Desperation.

In our January masterclass, Hattie will share advice on navigating the highs and lows of the writing life – drawing on her own experience, as well as the advice of the dozens of professional writers she has interviewed. With tips on finding inspiration, overcoming procrastination and honing your craft, this encouraging session will help writers of all genres to build the mindset required for progress.

This masterclass will take place online via Teams. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place. The session will end with a brief Q&A, so come ready with your questions!
