Present and Noticing: A Writing & Mindfulness Workshop

14th January 2026 12:30pm to 1:30pm, Online

Do you want to use mindfulness to transform your writing?

This class with writer, editor and writing coach Niamh Mulvey is designed to help you break free from the tension or fear that is preventing you from doing creative work. Niamh uses techniques from mindfulness meditation to lead participants in a series of imaginative exercises that will change the way you think about writing. Structured around the idea of ‘Place’ and using selected readings from great writers and poets, this class will bring new vitality to your work. This class is suitable for writers of fiction and creative non-fiction at all levels.

The session will end with a brief Q&A, so come ready with your questions.

The masterclass will take place online via Teams. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place.
