Do you want to find out how to self-publish successfully?
As a self-published author you are responsible for everything from the writing to the design to the promotion of your book. Author and writing coach Sacha Black, self-publishing under Ruby Roe, has her novels in bookshops across the world and has built a business around her stories. In this masterclass Sacha will talk you through her self-publishing journey, and guide you through the steps to take when you're ready to self-publish your novel. Sacha will shed light on what to outsource (do you need to commission a designer to work on your covers?) and what you can do yourself. She'll discuss identifying and reaching your target audience, and share techniques for building a promotional strategy to make sure your books find their readers. And she'll offer advice on how to grow your writing into a business that can make you a living.
There will be a Q&A session at the end, so have your questions ready!
The masterclass will take place online via Teams. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place.
Sacha Black is a best selling and competition winning author, rebel podcaster, and professional speaker.
She has five obsessions; words, expensive shoes, conspiracy theories, self-improvement, and breaking the rules.
Sacha writes educational nonfiction books for writers and sapphic books for Young Adults. She also writes lesbian fantasy romance under the pen name Ruby Roe.
When she’s not writing, she can be found laughing inappropriately loud, sniffing musty old books, fangirling film and TV soundtracks, or thinking up new ways to break the rules.
