Submit 2025: Lit Mag Panel

14th May 2025 8:00pm to 9:00pm

Need to know more about submitting to your writing? This is your chance to peek behind the curtain and uncover the inner workings of lit mags. If you’ve ever wanted to peer inside the mind of an editor, to understand what makes them tick, this is your chance.

We’ve assembled a panel of experts from literary magazines and small presses to share their insights and advice with you.

You’ll hear from the teams behind Urban Pigs Press, Trash Cat Lit, Neither Fish Nor Foul, and Frazzled Lit, as they share:

  • What they look for in submissions
  • The mistakes they see time and time again
  • How to stand out in the slush pile

We’ll discuss themed calls, submission guidelines, and more.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for you to ask your own questions.
