I'm new to W&A - just joined today. I'd really like to get some feedback on some of my work, but I don't think I fit with everyone else's genres. I've been writing children's picture book stories in rhyme. Can anyone suggest where I can find some like-minded writers? Also, I feel a bit apprehensive about sharing my work here - if it is in a public forum like this, does that affect the chances of it being published in any way?

It's great to see that there are a few of us at least! It's difficult to tell with the shared work, since there doesn't appear to be an option to identify it as being for children.
I have joined the facebook group, Writers Circle, which has been set up by members here to provide a closed/private space for sharing work. It would be good to see some of you there too!

Hi Rachael, I think you are right to keep looking until you find a group that includes other writers for children - otherwise you end up with daft comments from people who haven't read a children's book for fifty years.
