I recently made an attempt to post an excerpt here that was rife with italics (internal dialog). The system didn't pick up the italics. I know that Microsoft word has a few issues with cut and paste into web forms, and I have tried using "Textpad" and find it extremely cumbersome. What are some of your favorite text editor programs? Any suggestions?

I think the answer is that you just can't. It's annoying because it can affect the way your piece comes over & spoils the presentation.

It seems that I can't. I even tried saving the excerpt as a web page in word, but that didn't work either.
Hopefully someone has the answer. I'm sure this isn't the only place where the issue will come up.
I didn't know that you could use italics here. Are you sure that you can? I tried importing italics here from my Mac but it didn't work either.
