The wierdest thing has just happened to me and I cant believe it has taken me this long to figure it out. Since the time I decided to be a writer with an idea in mind, I've had a queue of diffrent ideas and characters ever since. Last night I had a dream of eveything that had crossed my mind and it all fit together like a plot to an amazing story. There is also one character that speaks louder than the rest and has been with me from the start, clearly she wants to be the main protaganist here. Has anything like this happened to you??

well, that is just so identical to me, for i have sometimes so many of them that barely i could help my self with the paper and pen.
Happens to me all the time. I have the weirdest of dreams ever and it all seems like a movie plot, and sometimes give me the craziest of ideas for a novel or story.
And I'd totally say, go with the dreams (or subconscious) as most would state because sometimes those are the 'better-modified' ideas that you are often unable to scale during all the planning and activity of brain. Yea, I'm too young for all these, but I do have felt the same, so..
