What platform do you use to write?

Do you use Microsoft Word, Ibook, or any other? What about editing and proofing? Just a software spell and grammar check, besides manual proofing or is there advice on how to do this better?

Word. Used it for years and I don't have the time or inclination to try something new.

It's touchy and slow, but better the devil you know...;)

I've always used Microsoft Word but I decided to give the Scrivener free month trial a go a few months back. I opened it once, decided it was going to make my head hurt and closed it again. I think I've still got another 28 days to try it, but I'm not overly keen.
